Food Technologist

Botanic Food s.r.o. is a fast-growing company specializing in the production and export of high-quality vegan products, sauces, and mayonnaises. We are seeking a dedicated Food Technologist to join our team in Pezinok to drive new product development, quality assurance, and production excellence.
This role combines innovation, hands-on food science, and rigorous quality control. You will be responsible for developing new recipes, optimizing production efficiency, maintaining HACCP compliance, and ensuring full regulatory alignment with EU standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop recipes for sauces, mayonnaises, and ketchups
- Ensure HACCP compliance and food safety standards
- Test new formulations and manage product portfolio
- Verify product labels according to EU legislation
- Optimize production efficiency and monitor quality
Must Have
- Master’s Degree in Food Science / Technology
- Intermediate English skills (B1 or higher)
- Strong knowledge ofІ HACCP and hygiene rules
- High precision, responsibility, and independence
- Valid work permit for Slovakia / EU
Nice to have
- Experience in vegan or frozen food production
- Additional languages
- Innovative mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with ŠVPS inspection standards
